In Costco you can buy everything from Kirkland Brand Almonds to Dog food so this is basically Costco's own brand in case people were unaware. Pretty good value, because you get nearly 2 years worth - 600 tablets for £12 and a trusted Brand, so this is the one of the numberoius out there to get. The minimum Adult Recommended Daily Amount for vitamin D3 is 200UI. 4000 IU is the EU Upper level (Maximum) which they say is unlikely to cause any health problems. And that means 2000IU should be a decent amount to take daily. You should note that 10,000 to 20,000 IU of vitamin D can be produced in 30 minutes of whole-body sunlight exposure according to the Wikipedia on Vitamin D. This will be my third bottle and I hope it will contain a feature the first bottle had - a silica gel drier to keep the capsules from sticking together. The second bottle lacked this.

What I do know is that for the price you get a fair number of gel capsules in an easy to open pot. And although it might seem strange, I really love the easy to swallow capsules. They're tiny and are easily distinguishable from all of my other medication which come in (mainly white) tablet form.
